• Orientation Tour: from the local grocer to an overview of the Baixa, this introduction quickly became a guest favorite!

• Welcome Basket: bottle of Portuguese wine, coffee, teas, orange juice, the very popular "Montequeijo" cheese, fresh fruit, real butter and freshly-baked breads
• Pre-Arrival Grocery Shopping: If you wish, we can pick-up a few of your favorite staples. No charge for delivery. Please ask for details.
• Babysitting?: We have located a delightful company with qualified sitters who speak a variety of languages. Please ask for details.
• Gym/Spa: A special treat! We have negotiated access for you at our local spa/gym with special short-term daily rates and discounts on massages. Please ask for details.
• Swimming: We have also negotiated access to our private, indoor 25m community swimming pool (€2.50/person/hour). A shallow pool is available for children. We must arrange passes for you, so be sure to communicate your interest in advance of arrival. Swim caps and flip-flops required for all ages. (Don't forget a daytrip to the beach, too.)
• Comfortable Portuguese furnishings, including hand-made Arraiolos rugs and local artwork
