Our first trip to Lisbon. Finding this apartment and having Austin as our hostess made everything so much better. We love the location of this marvelous apartment. We will certainly tell all our family and friends.
[br]We ate at Tijelinha for lunch/dinner, food and service was great. Corner market down the hill on the left side was great with very friendly owners.
[br]The Metro and train system is wonderful–clean and easy to use. The Zapping cards are the way to go.

We had a very nice week. Lots of good food, especially Solar 31 just down the slope. We recommend the ferry across to have lunch. And, most important, ask the [tourism office] for directions to the secret elevators up to the Castle of St. George.
